Job Title : Restaurant Manager

Location : Warwick, RI

Position Type : Full-Time

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead and oversee operations in a fast-paced, customer-centric restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences, managing a dedicated team, and ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to maintaining high standards in both service and food quality.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service, food quality, and cleanliness at all times.
Lead, train, and develop a team of employees, fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and maintaining high service standards.
Monitor financial performance, including labor costs, food costs, and inventory, and implement strategies to meet budgetary goals.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak hours while controlling labor costs.
Train new staff on restaurant procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement action plans to improve team effectiveness.
Assist in the hiring process and ensure staff are well-trained, motivated, and aligned with company values.
Handle administrative tasks such as payroll, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper inventory control.
Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role in a food service environment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a team.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with staff and guests effectively.

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and industry best practices.

Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.

Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.

Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role in a fast-casual or casual dining environment.
