Job Title : Restaurant Manager

Location : Scarsdale, NY

Position Type : Full-Time

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a fast-casual dining establishment in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong focus on customer service, team development, and operational efficiency. As the Restaurant Manager, you will manage a dedicated team, ensure consistent food quality, and maintain a positive and productive atmosphere for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service, quality food, and a positive guest experience.
Manage and develop a team of employees through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Ensure high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety, in compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
Monitor and control restaurant financials, including labor costs, food costs, and inventory management to meet profitability goals.
Handle customer feedback, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
Create employee schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak and off-peak times while controlling labor costs.
Conduct regular inventory checks and order supplies to ensure the restaurant is stocked and prepared for service.
Lead by example, promoting teamwork, motivation, and a positive working environment.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring all operational and safety standards are met.
Assist with hiring and onboarding of new staff, ensuring they are properly trained and aligned with company values.
Perform administrative tasks such as payroll, employee records, and operational reporting.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in restaurant management or a leadership role in the food service industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, develop, and guide a diverse team.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both staff and customers.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Financial management experience, including controlling costs and analyzing operational data.

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, providing solutions to challenges quickly.

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and industry regulations.

A passion for providing exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Education and Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role in a fast-casual or quick-service setting.
