Job Title : Restaurant Manager

Location : Milford, CT

Position Type : Full-Time

Job Summary : We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a commitment to high-quality customer service, and the ability to drive operational success. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff leadership, inventory control, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive customer experience.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees, providing coaching and support to enhance performance and job satisfaction.
Monitor and maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency to meet brand standards.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Manage the restaurant’s financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and meeting revenue targets.
Handle customer feedback, resolve issues and complaints promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and track product usage to ensure proper stock levels and minimize waste.
Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage during peak and off-peak hours while controlling labor costs.
Conduct employee performance reviews, provide feedback, and create development plans to support staff growth.
Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
Enforce company policies, ensuring a safe and respectful work environment for all team members.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in restaurant management or in a supervisory role within the food service industry.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.

Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to manage customer concerns professionally.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on efficiency and results.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards and the ability to implement them effectively.

Financial acumen, including the ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Education and Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a leadership role in a food service environment.
