We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Manager to join our team in Margate, NJ. As the Assistant Manager, you will work alongside the management team to oversee daily activities, lead a team of employees, and ensure a smooth, efficient, and high-quality guest experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operational Support : Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the establishment, ensuring a seamless guest experience and efficient restaurant processes.
- Staff Supervision & Training : Lead, train, and support the team, ensuring that all employees are knowledgeable, motivated, and providing excellent service. Provide guidance and feedback to improve staff performance.
- Customer Service : Ensure guests receive the best possible service by addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional, timely manner. Maintain a positive, friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff.
- Inventory & Ordering : Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies to maintain stock levels. Help ensure that the restaurant is well-stocked with necessary ingredients and materials while minimizing waste.
- Quality Control : Ensure food quality and consistency meet the restaurant’s standards. Monitor food preparation and ensure all food is served fresh and at the correct temperature.
- Team Scheduling : Help create staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage during busy hours and manage labor costs efficiently. Ensure the restaurant is appropriately staffed for peak periods.
- Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure the restaurant meets all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Monitor cleanliness and hygiene in both the dining and kitchen areas.
- Assist with Financial Management : Help monitor costs and work with the management team to ensure the restaurant operates within budget, controlling labor and food costs without compromising quality.
- Support Management : Act as a point of contact in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, handling operations, employee concerns, and customer service issues as needed.
