We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations at a fast-paced, upscale restaurant. As an integral part of the management team, you will help ensure that every guest has an exceptional dining experience, lead the team with energy and professionalism, and contribute to the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operational Support : Assist the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient service and high standards of food and beverage quality.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Support staff development, including training, performance management, and coaching.
- Guest Relations : Provide exceptional service to guests, handle complaints and concerns with professionalism, and ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Staffing and Scheduling : Assist with staffing, including the recruitment, scheduling, and management of staff to ensure proper coverage and operational efficiency.
- Financial Oversight : Assist in managing restaurant budgets, controlling costs, and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability. Monitor labor costs, food costs, and other operational expenses.
- Inventory Management : Oversee inventory levels for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost control.
- Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in both the front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
- Marketing and Promotions : Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies, events, and promotions to drive guest engagement and sales.
- Problem-Solving : Act as a key problem-solver in the absence of the General Manager, addressing operational issues, guest concerns, or employee challenges as they arise.
