Director of Food and Beverage Exclusive Membership Club
Are you a dynamic and forward-thinking hospitality professional? An upscale, private membership club is seeking a Director of Food and Beverage to lead its exceptional team. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, training, development, performance evaluations, and accountability for the restaurant management team.
- Lead by example with a strong presence on the floor to ensure service consistency and ongoing training.
- Support and mentor outlet managers to ensure their growth and success.
- Develop and implement creative food and beverage strategies to elevate the membership experience.
- Maintain and exceed service standards through meticulous attention to detail in all dining and beverage operations.
- Build relationships with members, creating a personalized and memorable experience that reflects the clubs luxury standards.
- Partner with the culinary team to design and execute innovative and seasonal menus, ensuring alignment with club objectives.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and operational integrity.
- Monitor and optimize financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Foster a workplace culture that attracts and retains top-tier talent, aligned with the clubs values.
- Regularly review staffing levels and service guides to maintain operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a private club, boutique hotel, or luxury property overseeing multiple outlets, including culinary programs.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving member satisfaction in high-end hospitality settings.
- Exceptional managerial skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership qualities, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Expertise in wine and beverage programs, including pairing, cost control, and menu development.
- Proficient in technology and financial management related to F&B operations.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Preferred: Sommelier certification, knowledge of luxury service protocols, and experience in new property openings.
