Job Description : Hotel Director of Sales and Marketing

Salary : $80K - $95K 20% Annual Bonus Potential
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that align with the hotels business objectives and growth targets.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales and marketing team, cultivating a results-oriented and collaborative culture.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market demand to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Partner with the executive team to establish goals and drive initiatives that enhance the hotels market positioning and profitability.
Revenue Generation
Drive measurable revenue growth through increased bookings, room occupancy, and ancillary services such as events, meetings, and catering.Design and implement sales initiatives targeting corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other strategic partners.Develop pricing, promotions, and package strategies that maximize revenue while meeting guests needs.Lead negotiations and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to secure repeat and new business.Marketing and Branding
Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across all channels, including digital, print, and social media.Ensure consistent brand messaging and visibility across all touch points, enhancing awareness and loyalty in target markets.Collaborate with internal teams to deliver engaging guest experiences that reflect branding strategies.Analyze and report on campaign performance, leveraging data to refine strategies and optimize return on investment.Relationship Management
Build and sustain relationships with high-value clients, industry leaders, travel companies, and local organizations.Act as the face of the hotel at external events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.Partner with the hotel operations team to ensure seamless integration of sales and marketing strategies into daily operations.Team Management and Development
Recruit, train, and mentor a talented sales and marketing team with clear performance metrics.Provide ongoing coaching, recognize achievements and address challenges to continuously improve individual and team performance.Foster collaboration between departments to create a unified approach to guest and client satisfaction.Budget and Financial Stewardship
Develop and manage budgets for the sales and marketing department, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.Evaluate and approve spending on campaigns, tools, and initiatives to maximize profitability.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales, occupancy, and revenue goals, delivering transparent reporting to stakeholders.Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related fieldexperienceA minimum of7-10 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in the hospitality industry.Proven track record of achieving revenue targets, expanding market share, and leading successful teams.Expertise in revenue management, forecasting, and CRM platforms.Strong understanding of hospitality sales channels, including corporate, group, smerf, leisure, association and contractSkills and Competencies
