Job Summary
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Food and Beverage operations, including dining services, events, and banquets, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional service and ensuring member satisfaction. This dynamic, hands-on position prioritizes forging strong relationships, fostering a culture of excellence, and crafting memorable experiences for members. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership abilities, solid financial acumen, and extensive experience in both la carte dining and event management
Responsibilities
Approve budgets, staffing, and plans for housekeeping, maintenance, repair, and security, ensuring smooth operations across departments.
Monitor budgets, implement corrective actions, and oversee profit and loss for events to meet financial goals while maintaining quality.
Recruit, hire, and train house operations staff, developing leadership and internship programs to ensure exceptional service.
Foster member engagement by maintaining visibility, addressing concerns, and ensuring flawless execution of dining experiences and events.
Provide motivational leadership, promoting teamwork and professionalism among staff and creating a welcoming environment.
Oversee safety procedures, emergency plans, and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance and operational consistency.
Collaborate with board on strategic plans, budgets, and facility improvements, ensuring alignment with goals.
Conduct regular facility inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards.
Monitor labor costs, optimize staffing schedules, and research new products for cost and quality improvements.
Represent the club within the community, resolve member and employee concerns, and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of management experience
A genuine passion for the service industry, paired with an engaging personality and the ability to anticipate the needs of members and guests.
Extensive knowledge of wines and wine service, with the expertise to train and cultivate staff in wine presentation and marketing techniques.
Highly motivated and detail-oriented, with a hands-on approach to management.
Up-to-date understanding of food and beverage trends, with a commitment to continuous learning.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
The ability to connect with members and guests in a warm, professional, and attentive manner.
