As the Hotel Controller, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including internal controls, bookkeeping, policies, cash management, audits, budgeting, credit analysis, and payroll. You will provide valuable financial and operational reports and analysis to both the management team on-site and our corporate team.
Key Responsibilities of the Hotel Controller include :
Overseeing all functions of the accounting department
Generating reports for management and ownership
Managing accounts receivable and payable
Conducting internal audits
Reviewing, approving, and establishing direct bill accounts for clients
Assisting with annual budgeting and external audits
Preparing bi-weekly payroll for submission
Overseeing monthly cash audits
Qualifications : Hotel Controller
Bachelors degree in accounting
Minimum of 3 years hospitality experience in accounting or related position
Excellent communication skills
Strong understanding of balance sheet and P&L
Strong computer skills, particularly with spreadsheets
Excellent organizational skills
