Shift Manager Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Shift Manager to join our fast-casual Texas BBQ restaurants across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. As a Shift Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager and General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and maintaining high food quality standards. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their leadership skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Shift Manager
- Operational Leadership: Assist in managing shift operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction. Support the team in maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards. Handle cash handling and register procedures accurately. Ensure shift transitions are seamless and efficient.
- Team Support & Development: Lead by example and provide coaching to team members during shifts. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Assist in training new employees to uphold brand standards.
- Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional service by addressing guest needs and concerns promptly. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure food is served with consistency and quality.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce all company policies, food safety procedures, and health regulations. Monitor inventory levels and report needs to management.
What You Bring to the Table
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role (preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
