We are seeking a highly organized and self-driven Restaurant Executive Assistant to join our team. This is a dynamic, floating role where you will work closely with the owner, providing administrative support and overseeing essential operations in the restaurant. You will need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a direct assistant to the owner, ensuring all tasks, projects, and operational needs are being addressed and followed up on.
- Regularly visit restaurants to follow up on operational functions, challenges, and areas that need attention.
- Respond promptly to any negative reviews, especially over weekends, ensuring customer concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
- Stay organized by maintaining a detailed task list and regularly reporting progress to the owner without needing prompting.
- Assist with managing day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including addressing employee-related issues, building department issues, and food & beverage management.
- Ensure follow-up and completion of all tasks and projects, maintaining clear communication with the owner.
- Serve as a point of contact for the owner and other team members to ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues.
- Identify challenges across restaurant operations, prioritize them, and work with the team to implement solutions.
- Maintain flexibility to adjust schedules based on the needs of the restaurant, ensuring all deadlines and tasks are met.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server, assistant manager, or in a restaurant leadership role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proven ability to follow through and complete tasks without being micromanaged.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in dealing with restaurant operations and team members.
- Must be proactive, responsive, and able to handle challenges with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable with office-based work and able to work remotely.
- Must be willing to travel to restaurant locations as needed.
