What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Simulation Software Engineer position at Gecko Robotics?
What We Do
Gecko Robotics is helping the world’s most important organizations ensure the availability, reliability, and sustainability of critical infrastructure. Gecko's complete and connected solutions combine wall-climbing robots, industry-leading sensors, and an AI-powered data platform to provide customers with a unique window into the current and future health of their physical assets. This enables real-time decision making to increase the efficiency and safety of operations, promote mission readiness, and protect the environment and civilization from the effects of infrastructure failure.
About The Team
The Field Software Team develops data collection, robotic localization, and robotic autonomy software for Gecko Robotics. We are at the forefront of making data collection efficient, repeatable, and high quality across multiple sensor modalities and robotic platforms. We work to understand new data types, the requirements of inspections and any operational failure modes that must be mitigated with our systems.
Role at a Glance
This is a senior-level position requiring 6 years of experience in writing simulation and test software.
As a Simulation and Test Software engineer on the Field Software Team, you will design and develop offline test infrastructure that accelerates Gecko’s efforts in data collection, robotic localization and autonomy. Your work will be critical to Gecko’s ability to scale its universe of field software applications.
What You Will Do
