What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC MACHINIST position at GED Integrated Solutions Inc?
Description
Set-up and operate Mazak CNC to produce machined components to blueprint specifications.
· Set-up and operate Mazak CNC to manufacture components to blueprint specifications.
· Set up tooling, Load program into machine tool, set tool lengths and adjust offsets as required.
· Inspect parts utilizing tools such as dial calipers, micrometers, thread gauge, pins etc.
· Maintain written documentation of in-process inspection reports and set-up sheets.
· Utilize ERP system to report job times as well as inventory transactions.
· Perform finishing operations (sanding or filing edges) as required on machined components.
· Participate in good housekeeping practices by maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements
· Must be able to do basic arithmetic.
· Must be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
· Must have experience in CNC Lathes (Preferably Mazak Lathes)
· Must be able to work in a team-based environment.
· Must have the ability to use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, and dial calipers).
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
