Description

We are currently hiring for a BDC Assistant Manager / Rental Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in the development and management of our BDC team, as well as assisting with the coordination of our rental services.

The BDC Assistant Manager / Rental Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Business Development Center (BDC) and Rental Department. This includes overseeing BDC activities, assisting in rental coordination, and managing a small team. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and experience in BDC operations and rental management.

BDC Assistant Manager / Rental Coordinator Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assist the BDC team with inbound and outbound customer inquiries.
  • Support appointment scheduling, follow-up communications, and lead management.
  • Monitor and track BDC performance to ensure goals and customer service standards are met.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and identify areas for potential new clients.
  • Work closely with the Service BDC team to ensure call goals and service numbers are met.
  • Coordinate rental transactions, including vehicle availability, customer inquiries, and rental agreements.
  • Assist in preparing and processing rental contracts with attention to detail and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage the rental fleet, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, clean, and available for clients.
  • Handle customer rental concerns and resolve issues as needed.
  • Support the fleet schedule, ensuring optimal inventory management.
  • Assist in training and mentoring BDC team members, promoting a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Help with performance evaluations and team growth to meet departmental goals.
  • Provide reporting on team performance and rental fleet status.
  • Assist in coordinating marketing efforts related to BDC and rental services.
  • Complete other administrative tasks as required by management.

Qualifications

BDC Assistant Manager / Rental Coordinator Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of BDC experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role (experience in rental coordination is a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field preferred.

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen, THC not included in the screening.
