George Gee GMC - KIA is a reputable automotive dealership located in the greater Spokane area. We are currently looking to expand our Service Department and need a skilled and experienced KIA Technician.
The ideal KIA Technician will be highly proficient in diagnosing and repairing KIA vehicles, ensuring top-notch service and customer satisfaction. This individual should be able to take on complex tasks and have the ability to work as a team mentor for junior technicians.
KIA Technician Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair KIA vehicles, including engine failure, electrical and mechanical systems, and related issues.
- Conduct inspections and perform services as per KIA manufacturer guidelines.
- Handle diagnostics, repairs, and replacements of vehicle parts.
- Assist and mentor other technicians on the team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high standard of quality.
Schedule: Friday 8 to 5 with flexibility for Tuesday thru Saturday

Qualifications
KIA Technician Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience working on KIA vehicles (or relevant import brand experience).
- ASE Certification preferred.
- CDK experience is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to digital MPI with photo and video inspections.
- Valid Driver’s License and personal tools required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen, THC not screened for.
