Tonkin Hillsboro Chevrolet has big things in store for 2024 and now is a great time to join our dealership! We are actively seeking out an experienced Parts Advisor to join our Parts department. We are located right off of Tualatin Valley Highway. The Parts Advisor position makes a significant impact on our dealership by assisting both technicians and clients with their needs regarding ordering auto parts. The ideal candidate would have prior dealership and auto parts experience.
Parts Advisor Job Responsibilities
- Answering phone and assisting the customer with parts orders,
- Act as a point person for Technicians and Advisors with parts questions.
- Checking shipments, posting inventory, and putting away stock orders.
- Pulling parts and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Assist in keeping parts area clean and organized, ordering supplies as needed.
- Assist in other departmental duties as needed.
Schedule: This is a Full-Time opening - Flexibility is key.

Qualifications
Parts Advisor Job Qualifications
- Qualified candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, enjoy working with a team, and have an understanding of the need for safety.
- Must have Automotive Parts experience in a high-volume environment using CDK and/or other DMS software.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen – THC not included in the screening.
