We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Chief of Staff to join our leadership team. This position will provide high-level strategic advice and support to the CEO, acting as a trusted confidant and thought partner, assisting with key decision-making, managing special projects, analyzing complex situations, and leveraging their extensive industry knowledge and network to drive the company's overall vision and goals, often with a focus on long-term strategic planning and navigating complex internal and external challenges.

What you'll do:
- Monitor and consult on the financial strategy of the company. This includes long-term financial planning and forecasting, risk management, and investment strategies including merger and acquisition.
- Review the monthly and annual financial statements. Ensure the timely reporting of key financial data and updates to the CEO and other key stakeholders.
- Assist with evaluating the performance of personnel. This individual recommends training requirements and has the duty to keep the staff at the highest level of skill necessary to meet company needs and objectives.
- Meet individually and in group settings on a regular basis with senior team members to aid in problem solving and support their leadership development.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision-making utilizing real-time reporting tools and other leading industry software.
- Assist with legal and regulatory compliance. This includes tax planning, compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, and corporate governance.
- Lead special projects to enhance efficiency and performance within a wide range of departments.
- Gather critical information to provide expert advice and consultative services in support of planning and management initiatives.
- Review and provide input on significant pricing decisions, guidelines and tools.
- Review and provide input on staffing targets, compensation plans, and retention strategies.
- Review company data and data from industry competitors or market research to make comparative assumptions about company’s current operations and develop plans to grow market share within the heavy equipment industry.
What you'll need:
- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
- Intimate knowledge of the heavy-equipment industry (Dealership experience preferred)
- Extensive experience in senior managerial roles, with a proven track record of success.
- Extensive experience in large-scale merger and acquisition deals.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
