Our transaction advisory group is a premier consulting team providing financial due diligence to private equity and corporate management teams for the lower middle market. Our team advises clients on the most critical diligence stream of their transactions, the financial information, and provides critical insights to help clients make well informed decisions on their transactions. We advise on both the buy side and sell side of transactions across a wide range of industries. 


We are seeking a Senior Associate for our Transactions Advisory Services team. As a senior associate, youwill be responsible to lead all aspects of engagement execution and supervise associates on the team. Our senior associates are provided maximum opportunity to take ownership of engagements and client relationships which career growth opportunities within the team and firm.  

Requirements

What you'll be doing

  • Provide technical and advisory financial and accounting due diligence services to private equity clients and lower middle market companies.
  • Perform complex analyses, including quality of earnings analysis on earnings, revenue, cash flows and related trends, analysis of net working capital and cash flows, and identification of potential liabilities and financial risks in a  transaction. 
  • Responsible for engagement execution, including correspondence with clients and target-company management, preparing deliverables and presenting key financial due diligence findings and concepts and leading meetings with all parties to      the transaction. 
  • Develop and maintain quality client relationships. Maintain active client communication to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and meet deadlines.
  • Manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a results-oriented team environment.
  • Manage, develop, train and mentor associates on projects.
  • Provide strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills including proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS rules and standards.
  • Analyze, interpret, and create visualizations of large, complex data sets using a variety of Microsoft applications (primarily Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Work jointly in work groups and with team members to share knowledge and contribute effectively to complete tasks, develop ideas and processes across organizational boundaries.
  • Adhere to the core values and standards of the organization.

What makes you a fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a similar discipline.
  • 2-5 years recent experience in financial due diligence transaction advisory.
  • CPA certification highly preferred (or meets the criteria to sit for the CPA exam).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead team meetings both in virtual and in person environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to lead meetings and present complex accounting matters in easily understandable terms.
  • Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, including complex accounting areas like revenue recognition.      
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office applications.
