Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electronic equipment and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic principles and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. The Electronics Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of all electronic systems.
Job Summary:
To oversee, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility electrical equipment according to safety and Gehring procedures; To assist with maintenance of grounds and property of Gehring facilities; To be available for other tasks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma preferred, GED accepted
General reading required
Electrical certifi cation a plus
Electrical/electronics experience a must; Mechanical experience a must
Strong math skills; Ability to read measuring devices
Good attention to detail; Good organizational skills
Good communication skills
Professional manner and appearance
Textiles equipment experience a plus
Good judgment with independent decision-making skills within Gehring procedures
Requirements:
Ability to work well with others, but capable of working alone
Ability to sit, stand, walk for lengths of time; Ability to climb stairs
Ability to lift, push, pull, move 100 lbs sporadically throughout shift
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to perform tasks as a moderate pace
Ability to anticipate unexpected situations (weather conditions, etc) and adapt/overcome
Ability to creatively solve problems quickly and independently within Gehring procedures
Ability to work around loud machines, wet floors, steamy environment
Ability to diff use tense situations
Responsibilities:
Assist install/maintain/troubleshoot/repair all facility equipment/grounds/buildings as necessary
Detect faulty operations/defective equipment/building/grounds issues and report those to super
Repair/Install/Troubleshoot/Maintain all electrical equipment as necessary
Assist in training
Comply with all safety regulations
Be available to assist with other tasks
Keep work areas clean and clear
