Commercial Agency Support Representative
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Agency Support Representative to join our team in Dallas, TX.
This role involves supporting business-to-business relations with insurance agents throughout the country. You will be the first contact for agents and their customers, answering coverage and underwriting questions, supporting policy changes, and providing troubleshooting support for sales and service functions.
As a Commercial Agency Support Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized service that demonstrates the value of building an agency relationship with GEICO.
Responsibilities:
- Under direct supervision, identify, triage, and deliver solutions for sales and service inquiries related to Commercial Business-to-Business Relations via telephone calls associated with Commercial Truck Insurance.
- Receive formal classroom training and begin to handle sales and service inquiries related to Commercial Auto Insurance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 12 months of call center or customer-facing service experience required.
- P&C license preferred or 4-year degree.
- Preferred experience working in an insurance agency or as a trucking insurance agent.
- Ability to listen actively and present complex information clearly.
- Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills.
- Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to troubleshoot applications and escalate as needed.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment.
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; college degree or currently pursuing preferred.
