We are the Mid-Atlantic's largest industrial pump and process equipment solutions provider, with locations in Aston and York, Pennsylvania, and Baltimore, Maryland. We're seeking a Service Manager who will use their entrepreneurial, technical, and managerial skills to drive the growth and excellence of our Pump, Blower, and Vacuum Pump Service Centers. What You Get To Do
· Drive service business growth by expanding team capabilities, optimizing operations, and collaborating with sales teams
· Oversee service scheduling and job prioritization to ensure optimal resource allocation and customer satisfaction
· Perform quality reviews of in-shop inspection reports and field service reports while continuously improving quality programs and procedures
· Support service job quoting efforts, providing technical review and optimization of profitability
· Champion safety initiatives and continuous improvement in both shop and field service operations
· Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve job workflow and operational efficiency
· Conduct regular team meetings to communicate expectations, build cohesion, and foster our core values: Act with Integrity and Respect, Foster Teamwork, Focus on the Customer, Strive for Excellence and Innovation, Project Passion and Energy and Have Fun
· Manage performance evaluations, address conflicts, and ensure adherence to customer service and quality standards
· Provide technical support to the sales team and maintain strong customer relationships
· Continually improve shop organization, tooling, and operational systems
What We Need From You
· Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field with 5 years of experience, or significant leadership experience in service operations
· Demonstrated experience in technical service, project coordination, and/or supervision
· Strong background in developing and maintaining safety programs and training
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to lead effectively in various situations
· Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Proven ability to drive operational excellence and team performance
· Strong problem-solving skills with attention to quality and detail
· Professional demeanor with a customer-focused mindset
· Physical ability to work in shop environment and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
