About the Position
We are seeking a senior Construction Budget Manager to join our team at Geis Companies. In this role, you will be responsible for managing budgets, estimating costs, and working closely with project managers and superintendents to ensure successful project execution.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop budget plans, forecasts, and financial models for current and future projects
- Analyze and estimate costs, utilizing historical data, industry benchmarks, and other relevant sources
- Work closely with project managers and superintendents to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of five years in Construction Management or related discipline, preferably with a Design Build Contractor
- Knowledge: Materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction industry
- Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal
- Labor and commodity knowledge: Understanding of market labor and commodity conditions and impacts on construction costs
