Job Summary
Join our dynamic outpatient team at Geisinger as we drive innovation and growth in Behavioral Health services. We’re looking for a seasoned leader who can help transform our comprehensive service offerings, ensuring we make a meaningful impact in the community while upholding the highest quality of care.
In this impactful role, you will oversee the operations of outpatient behavioral health services across 33 locations, blending telehealth and in-person care to optimize patient experiences. Your leadership will align with our organizational mission and vision, driving new models of care and managing fiscal responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational activities and functions within behavioral health outpatient services.
- Support functions for providers integrated into primary care, specialty care, and behavioral health settings.
- Oversee overall operations and foster growth of business units in collaboration with physician leadership.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures in conjunction with physician leadership.
- Establish long-range objectives and monitor financial performance of the business units.
- Ensure effective, efficient, and cost-effective use of non-clinical resources.
- Guide, develop, and evaluate non-clinical staff on achieving goals and objectives.
- Regularly assess organizational effectiveness and implement necessary changes.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with management, physicians, patients, and employees.
- Engage in IT, development, marketing, and public relations initiatives.
- Support objectives in medical education and clinical research.
- Serve as a liaison with community and governing authorities.
- Act as the facilitator for the assigned business units.
This position is primarily office-based; approximately 25% travel within the Geisinger service area may be required.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 7 years in managerial / supervisory positions and 7 years in healthcare required.
