Join our dedicated team of emergency medical professionals! We are looking for a skilled Paramedic to provide advanced life support services under the Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Services Act. This is a full-time role, where you will make a significant impact on the lives of patients in Schuylkill County.
Key Responsibilities :
- Respond promptly within your designated area to provide advanced life support services.
- Adhere to Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Laws while on duty.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and communicate findings to the Medical Commander using two-way communication systems.
- Provide care in line with regional protocols for triage, treatment, and transfer.
- Take charge at the scene of emergencies, directing primary response personnel efficiently.
- Ensure readiness for response by performing equipment and vehicle checks before and after shifts.
- Document each patient encounter accurately and submit reports promptly.
- Support the training of new staff and participate in preceptorships.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in partnership with other team members.
- Engage in patient safety improvement initiatives and timely reporting of incidents according to hospital policies.
- Coordinate with local Fire and Rescue services in emergency operations.
