Job Summary : Join our dedicated team as an Emergency Medical Technician, where you'll provide essential pre-hospital advanced life support services, guided by the Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Services Act (37-2009), and uphold the highest standards of patient care supported by regional protocols.
Job Duties :
- Respond to emergency calls within designated geographical areas, enhancing community medical support.
- Adhere to all Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Laws while responding to incidents.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and relay critical information effectively using two-way communication systems.
- Deliver patient care in accordance with established treatment and triage protocols.
- Lead the response at emergency scenes, directing primary personnel as necessary.
- Perform routine checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Document each patient encounter comprehensively and submit reports promptly.
- Assist in training new personnel, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Contribute to routine housekeeping and maintenance duties alongside team members.
- Engage in patient safety improvement initiatives, identifying potential issues and enhancing care processes.
- Report any serious incidents following established hospital policies.
- Cooperate with local Fire and Rescue teams during joint operations.

Education : Graduate from a Specialty Training Program (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s) : Certified Paramedic; Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Operator; Valid Driver's License; Basic Life Support Certification.
