As a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager, you will play a vital role in leading our pharmacy services team. This position is essential for ensuring safe and effective medication therapy for our patients. You will engage with healthcare professionals and patients to optimize medication management and enhance the quality of care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Fulfill all pharmacist duties in your area of practice.
- Ensure adherence to best practice standards for clinical care, maximizing patient satisfaction and the efficiency of medication processes.
- Assess and improve current pharmacy practices while planning new initiatives based on identified needs.
- Tackle and resolve employee and patient issues, seeking guidance from HR or leadership when needed for satisfactory outcomes.
- Manage performance evaluations for your staff, ensuring high standards in patient care through adequate staffing and skill mix.
- Recruit, hire, and maintain staffing levels to support excellent patient care.
- Analyze medication utilization patterns and address changes in costs with a collaborative approach.
- Develop evidence-based protocols for cost containment and savings.
- Provide budgetary input for staffing and financial needs in your area.
- Facilitate education and implementation of key performance indicators to staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and corporate standards within your area.
- Continuously develop, revise, and audit departmental policies and procedures.

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Required)
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of related experience (Required), Minimum of 1 year in a managerial / supervisory role (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s) : Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania
