Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Express Care Clinic team. In this role, you will be essential in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring high-quality care for our patients and their families. You will assist in the diagnosis and treatment processes, ensuring seamless communication and continuity in patient care.
Location : Scranton, Pennsylvania
Key Responsibilities :
- Collect and document patient history, vital signs, and basic medical data to prepare patients for their examinations.
- Deliver direct clinical care as required by the provider.
- Assist providers in minor surgical and diagnostic procedures to enhance the accuracy of diagnoses.
- Gather and prepare laboratory specimens while efficiently completing necessary paperwork for timely laboratory studies.
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients as directed by the provider and ensure prompt responses to patient inquiries to optimize provider efficiency.
- Administer medications and vaccines, including intradermal and skin tests, under provider supervision.
- Ensure examination and treatment rooms are clean and well-prepared between cases, maintaining a high standard of aseptic practice.
This role requires working in a clinical environment, and you will be held accountable for fulfilling job-specific obligations and adhering to all organizational policies.
Position Details :
Hiring Incentive : This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over two years (certain stipulations apply).
Hours : 40 hours per week; clinic hours are typically Monday through Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 8 : 00 PM and weekends from 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM (weekend rotations are required).
Travel : Minimal travel, if needed.
