Position Overview
- This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule of 7 nights on and 7 nights off, from 7pm to 7am.
- You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough initial assessments and triage patients based on their presenting conditions.
- Monitor laboratory results and procedures, discuss findings with physicians, and communicate with families and patients about next steps.
- Coordinate follow-up care as needed, ensuring seamless transitions between shifts.
- Respond promptly to phone calls from established patients and their families, addressing concerns and providing guidance on treatment plans.
Qualifications and Education
- A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
- Certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
