Responsibilities
- Evaluate, assess, and diagnose patients with psychiatric mental health conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe therapies, and adjust or discontinue medications as needed
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing, specifically Nurse Practitioner
- Current PMHNP certification
- Prior experience preferred
