We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated paramedic to join our Critical Care Transport Team at Geisinger Health.
Job Summary
The Critical Care Transport Paramedic provides critical care transport paramedic level care to patients in conjunction with the flight nurse, while maintaining thorough patient care documentation in the electronic medical record.
Responsibilities
- Provides critical care transport paramedic level care to patients until care is relinquished to an accepting medical facility.
- Maintains competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills by participating in ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
- Communicates educational needs to the Chief Flight Nurse, Regional Supervisors, Medical Director CEP's, and Life Flight Educator as required.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from a specialty training program.
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support Certification, Certified Flight Paramedic, Certified Paramedic, Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification, S.T.A.B.L.E. Certified.
