One year patient care experience required
Monitors and provides support to patients during the overnight hours.
Job Duties :
- Monitors and ensures that patients are in their rooms on time and remain on their designated floor during overnight hours.
- Conducts room check at to ensure all patients are in their rooms.
- Responds appropriately to emergency situations.
- Utilizes daily log to communicate with other shifts and report events.
- Additionally, for any events that occur, leaves voice mail for key staff.
- To perform the above responsibilities, requires the Specialist to be awake during the entire shift, and to have current certification in both CPR and basic First Aid.
- Attends staff meetings, in-service trainings and supervision.
