Job Title:
Nocturnist Physician Assistant or Nurse PractitionerGeisinger Community Medical Center is seeking a Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team.

Responsibilities include performing initial assessment and triage of patients, keeping track of pertinent procedure and laboratory results, and assisting with arranging appropriate follow-up for patients.
Additionally, duties include answering and returning phone calls from established patients and their families, discussing plans with physicians, and obtaining or assisting in the preauthorization process for medications, diagnostic studies, and treatments.

Certification and Education:
Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required)
Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA); Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
