Geisinger's Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support our Cardiology departments at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat adult cardiac patients referred to the cardiology service. This includes performing patient evaluations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans.
As a member of our team, you will have the autonomy to manage and assist in the smooth operations of the inpatient cardiology patient, outpatient cardiology clinic, cardiac labs, and outreach cardiology clinics. You will also be responsible for ordering testing as needed and interpreting results to prescribe appropriate medication regimens within the scope of your practice.
