Job Description:
* Provide emergency medical services, including responding to emergency calls and providing critical care to patients
* Work closely with medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes
* Maintain equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in good working order
* Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
* Collaborate with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
* Completion of a paramedic program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP)
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
* Certification as a paramedic and/or EMT required;
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift 50 pounds or more;
* Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
