Geisinger is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide high-quality anesthesia care in our surgical settings. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort through preoperative evaluations and postoperative follow-ups.
Responsibilities:
- Anesthetize patients and select appropriate drugs for anesthesia and emergency treatment
- Induce and maintain anesthesia, respond to codes, and maintain the airway
- Monitor patient status and adjust medications as needed
- Treat variants of anesthesia and communicate patient status with the surgeon, anesthetist, and Charge CRNA
- Assess patient status, interpret hemodynamic waveforms, and equipment status, taking corrective measures to keep patients in stable pre, peri, and post-anesthesia states
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Nursing required
- Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN State of Pennsylvania
- Licensed Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Basic Life Support Certification
