We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team at the Medical Clinic Buckhorn in Bloomsburg, PA. As a member of our tight-knit community, you will experience a unique quality of life and be part of a healthcare system that prioritizes patient-centered care. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Participating in daily huddles with care team members to review coordination of care
• Collaborating with care managers, health managers, clinic health associates, and coding educators
• Utilizing Epic EMR throughout Geisinger for seamless patient care
• Providing increased access to care through eVisits, patient portals, and Geisinger's ConvenientCare urgent care clinics
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• Completion of an ARC-PA-approved physician assistant program or equivalent
• Current NCCPA certification or eligibility
• Pennsylvania State licensure
