Key Responsibilities
As a CRNA Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality anesthesia care in the operating room, while also serving as an expert, mentor, and preceptor to peers, staff, residents, students, nurses, and ancillary staff.
- Anesthetize patients, selecting appropriate drugs for anesthesia and emergency treatment.
- Maintain anesthesia, monitoring patient status and adjusting medications as needed.
- Treat variants of anesthesia, communicating patient status with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assess patient status, interpreting hemodynamic waveforms and taking corrective measures to ensure patient stability.
