About the Job
This position is responsible for performing a variety of technical duties necessary to the acquisition of echocardiographic examinations and maintenance of the normal operation of the adult echocardiography laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Performs and processes echocardiographic examinations, including two-dimensional, three-dimensional, M-mode, Doppler, and special procedures.
- Performs emergency procedures when necessary; transports equipment and patients.
- Assists with special procedures, including transesophageal echocardiography, intraoperative echocardiography, pericardiocentesis, and contrast echocardiography.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience (Required)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) (Required)
