Job Title: Chaplain Associate- PER DIEM (GCMC)
Provides spiritual and emotional support directly to patients, family members, caregivers, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in interdisciplinary team conferences, support meetings, and other relevant gatherings
- Evaluates each patient's spiritual needs and concerns in consultation with other team members
- Offers direct chaplaincy services to patients, family members, and caregivers of diverse religious perspectives
- Consults with the patient's clergy of choice upon request and advises them on admission
- Documents all visits and phone calls in the electronic medical record within a timely manner
- Provides consultation, counsel, and support to other team members as needed
- Assists with training programs and in-service education when requested
Work Environment
The position is typically performed in a clinical setting. The incumbent is accountable for satisfying all job-specific obligations and adhering to all organization policies and procedures.
