Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage ED activities, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow processes.
- Develop and implement initiatives to drive performance improvement among advanced practitioners.
- Serve as liaison between hospital administration and other clinical departments.
- Promote collaboration and teamwork among team members.
Education and Training:
- Direct continuing education for emergency medicine advanced practitioners.
- Oversee teaching and training of AP students.
- Maintain expertise through self-education and CME activity.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification as PA or NP, active PA license required.
- Minimum 5 years experience as an advanced practitioner, 2 years in emergency medicine.
- Leadership and management experience preferred.
