Job Summary
This Emergency Medical Technician position plays a critical role in our Central Region Emergency Medical Services Team, providing advanced life support services to the community. The successful candidate will have a graduate degree from a Specialty Training Program, Basic Life Support Certification, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls within our defined geographic coverage area, enhancing community health and safety.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, gathering historical data and communicating critical findings through two-way communication systems.
- Assume control of pre-hospital patient encounters, ensuring seamless care transitions.
- Perform routine equipment and vehicle checks, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to new personnel, students, and volunteers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Education and Certifications
Requirements include:
- A graduate degree from a Specialty Training Program.
