Key Responsibilities
- Prepares and processes certain specimens in the Cytopreparatory lab when necessary.
- Maintains equipment, participates in established preventive maintenance programs, and alerts Analytical Specialists of any equipment problems.
- Assists in the evaluation and validation of new instruments and new technologies as needed under the supervision of the Analytical Specialist and Doctoral Director.
- Participates in department record-keeping, including work volumes, safety records, continuing education records, and quality assurance records and activities as requested.
