**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an Echocardiography Imaging Specialist to join our team at Geisinger. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of technical duties necessary to the acquisition of echocardiographic examinations and maintenance of the normal operation of the adult echocardiography laboratory.
**Responsibilities:
- Transports equipment and patients, assists with special procedures including transesophageal echocardiography, intraoperative echocardiography, pericardiocentesis, and contrast echocardiography.
- Analyzes and files echocardiographic data utilizing digital computer analysis systems
- Assists in developing and maintaining internal training programs and in technical instruction of echocardiographic techniques
- Performs mobile Echo service as directed
**Requirements:**
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International Certification required within 6 months of hire - Default Issuing Body
- Certified Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer within 6 months of hire - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
