Summary
A food service worker performs various tasks within the food service area. This includes but is not limited to, food preparation, packaging, and deliveries. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing any and all food service areas as required by management and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares and serves food according to recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Cleans and sanitizes food service areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Takes and records temperature of food and food storage areas.
- Weighs or measures ingredients for food preparation.
- Receives and stores food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Handles cash transactions as needed.
- Reads and interprets patient meal tickets and confirms patient identifiers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- New Hires are eligible for a Sign-on Bonus up to $2,500.
- Primary hours will be 6:30 am - 3:00 pm.
- Weekend and holiday rotation required.
