Main Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, visitors, vendors, and guests warmly to the facility.
- Create lasting impressions through excellent first and last interactions.
- Evaluate and enforce screening policies and procedures for patients, guests, and vendors.
- Assist patients and visitors safely in and out of their vehicles.
- Facilitate Valet Parking and Shuttle services for patients.
- Escort or transport patients in wheelchairs to priority locations.
- Coordinate patient transport with the patient transport service when necessary.
- Determine if patient transfer and lift team assistance is required, call for help as needed.
- Provide information, directions, and support to patients, visitors, guests, vendors, and staff members.
- OBTAIN resources to transport patients between various departments on campus; maintain wheelchair availability in assigned areas, as required.
- Inspect wheelchairs and other equipment for defects and arrange for repairs when necessary.
- Interact with patients, visitors, guests, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
