About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Healthcare Provider to join our team in Hospital Medicine at Geisinger.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Perform procedures within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner license.
- Communicate with collaborative physician, patient, PCP and referring staff through telephone or other means of correspondence.
- Instills confidence in patient acting as their advocate by providing safe, ethical care and health education to the patient and their family in a language that they can understand.
Education and Certifications
We require a Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner and certifications such as Basic Life Support and Certified Nurse Practitioner. A Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania is also required.
