What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Site Reliability Engineer I (DevOps Engineer) position at Geisinger?
- Maintain and improve reliability of core infrastructure systems through automation and monitoring tools
- Experience in the following technologies: Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) Azure DevOps, Splunk, Zenoss, GitHub, PowerShell, etc.
- Experience in working on cloud/hybrid solutions
- Automate and deploy infrastructure configurations using Infrastructure as Code
- Implement monitoring, as well as metric, log collection, and reporting.
- May be required to take place in an On-Call rotation
- Responds and take ownership or assists with incidents, requests or tasks and tickets as assigned
- Build out functionality of the Platform used by other engineering teams
- Debug issues in application code and related services
- Supports DevSecOps tools and provides guidance to development teams.

Required Skills:
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Proficient with CI/CD Concepts and Tools
- Working knowledge of PowerShell Scripting
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Working knowledge of Web Application Servers
- Problem-solving attitude
- Experience with Azure DevOps platform a plus
- Performance and Load Testing
