Geisinger Medical Assistant Program Overview
We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Medical Assistants. This exciting opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting while pursuing certification.
Compensation and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all patients interacting with our healthcare system.
- Administer medications per scope of practice based on clinic location and type, assist providers in setting up for and conducting minor procedures, and prepare exam rooms between patients.
- Accompany providers and care team members during patient examinations, assist as directed, provide support and assistance to patients as needed, reinforce patient instructions to enhance patient understanding and adherence to treatment, and collect and prepare lab specimens.

Requirements
