Summary
A medical assistant with previous experience is needed to support patients and providers in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will perform basic direct patient care activities, assist with minor procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing basic patient care duties such as taking vital signs, weights, assisting patients with ambulation, dressing and undressing for examination, as directed by the provider and clinical supervisor.
- Assisting provider in setting up for minor procedures, gathering supplies and equipment, applying aseptic dressings, opening supplies, etc.
- Obtaining and accurately documenting patient information using the rooming tool within the electronic medical record.
- Completing medication review.
- Accompanying providers and care team members during patient examinations and assisting as directed.

Requirements
