About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled part-time nocturnist AP to join our hospital medicine team at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. This individual will work collaboratively with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care, develop treatment plans, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical conditions and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Manage laboratory results, coordinate follow-up care, and facilitate preauthorization processes.
- Develop and maintain accurate patient records.
- Stay up-to-date with clinical guidelines, protocols, and procedures.
Qualifications
A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required, along with NCCPA certification and Basic Life Support Certification.
